I think it’s pretty interesting that people wonder if Dan Savage “deserved to be glitter-bombed.” As if it’s going too far. It’s short stunt which minimally interrupted his talks the three times it has happened, his own blog says he returned in less then five minutes from the second one. The point of a glitter-bomb is that it causes no actually harm, and Dan Savage himself says that the assault charges are ridiculous.
The question should be, does Dan Savage deserve to be called transphobic?
Does Dan Savage deserve to be called bi-phobic, racist, misogynistic?

I would say that he’s cissexist and cis supremest rather than transphobic. People tend to inaccurately use transphobia to describe those mindsets/oppressions.
